Yesterday, Yu Play God held a launch event in New Delhi to announce the new Yu Yuphoria, but that was not all. At the event, Co-Founder of Micromax, Rahul Sharma launched the Yu Fit, which is a fitness tracking band and it is going to give a tough competition to the Xiaomi Mi Band, which was launched in India last month. The Yu Fit is a fitness tracker and it comes with a screen. So, basic idea is similar, but there is a change in shape and design.
The Yu YuFit comes with a screen which was missing in the Xiaoimi Mi Band, and also this time there are no Goals set. The Yuphoria was made in India, but the company has not revealed whether the Fit is made in India or not. Yu Fit initially reminded us about the Samsung Gear Fit, but these devices are having a lot of difference.
The Yu YuFit comes with a screen which works on a dedicated application just like the Mi Band. The device comes with ‘Do not disturb’ slots on the app for the band. It is a wireless wristband that works in tandem with a dedicated app to dynamically monitor fitness levels, set alarms and reminders.
The Yu YuFit is a fitness tracker and you can not make calls, but surely you can get the notifications. The device is going to wake you up too in the morning with the vibrations. It is a pretty cool thing, but the question is whether it is worthy or not. It is worthy buying as the company also offers a 24 x 7 guidance from the fitness experts.
The unified interface lets you monitor steps walked, calories burnt and daily goals reached. You can let the world know about your health goals by just altering plans with ‘My Plan’ feature and share them online with a social media profile support. Yu YuFit can be used for setting up your daily goals.
The Yu YuFit is not available in India at this moment, but it is priced at Rs. 999 and it will be available in India very soon.
