Wickedleak has launched a new smartphone for the Indian users and calls it Wammy Neo. The smartphone will run on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean and beside that the company has placed it among the octa-core species. So, we can definitely look for this device since the price is quite low and convincing.

For the specs of the device it has 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution. It packs 1.7GHz octa core processor and the name of the chipset is MediatTek MT 6592 octa-core and the device is mated with 2GB RAM. On the back, it features an 8 megapixel camera and 2 megapixel camera is there on the front. Mali 450 is there for the graphics. We can expand the storage of Wickedleak Wammy Neo upto 64GB.

It is a dual SIM device and supports 3G. For connectivity it has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS/AGPS. With the launch of these smartphones, vendors like Motorola will surely face some competition and Indian vendors like Micromax are also working on new smartphones that will pack those amazing specs and the price of the device would be low as compared to the device that are launching now.

However a good new for the consumers who are looking for the device is that it would be upgrade able to Android Kitkat but the timeframe is not set and may take a long time than we think. Beside that there are some other smartphones which packs Octa Core but their price is still higher than this and they surely have some more specs and feature than this device. The price of Wickedleak Wammy Neo is Rs. 11,990 and in couple of days it will be available at online store.

Users who are waiting for cheap Octa-core smartphones, the Wickedleak Wammy Neo could be your answer. A hands on the device is recommended by the Gadgetgyaan Editors.
