WhatsApp removed from Windows Phone Store by Facebook

The tech world has seen many popular apps like Instagram, Nimbuzz, Viber and many more, but WhatsApp has changed everything. Everyone is using this application these a days and also, it was acquired by Facebook and the social networking giant made a $19 billion acquisition to it. Anyway, the current news is that WhatsApp has been removed from the Windows Phone Store and if you own a Windows Phone device just go ahead and search it in your Windows Phone Store. This application is mission from the store for the Windows Phone users and Facebook has kept it down due to some problems. 

The Windows Phone 8.1 update was released a few months ago by Microsoft and at that time no one knew that the WhatsApp applications is going to face some compatibility issues with this operating system.

The folks from WhatsApp haven’t made any statements so far regarding the removing of the application from the Windows Phone store, but one thing is clear that the Windows Phone 8.1 is the issue. If you will search for this application now, you will see that the display says that this application is no longer published. So, it is clear that the application is taken down for some reason but it will be soon up, we hope.

The folks over at the tech team of WhatsApp are surely working on this issue and they will fix the problem with the Windows Phone 8.1 very soon. So, for those users who want to download WhatsApp for their Windows Phone devices you will have to wait unless, the application again hits the store.

The users all around the world have complained that the WhatsApp was not working fine with the Windows Phone 8 operating system either, but the WP7 users are not effected. So, for now that is all do stay tuned while we are covering more info.
