Uber Driver Rapes passenger

A few days ago, an another shameful act took place in India and this time technology has led to rape and as you guys know, a Uber passenger has been raped by it’s driver. It has been a very shameful act and the accused has been caught and it is more shameful that he has repeated the thing. In 2011, the rapist did the same thing and was in Tihar jail for the seven months. Today, the Indian Government has banned Uber in Delhi. It is official now and if any Uber Taxi is seen on the roads then the company will be fined and some necessary actions can also be taken against them.

The Delhi Government says that Uber is misleading people. First of all, Uber should have a perfect method of selecting the Drivers as the rapist was the driver and the company should have checked his status and he rapped the girl in a ferry in 2011 and gone in Tihar Jail for seven months and was out of Jail now on bail.

The Delhi Comissioner has said,”The services of Uber have been blacklisted. We have just issued an order saying Uber’s activities stand banned in Delhi”. Also, he said that Uber is misleading people as they are offering them Taxis with All-India permit which is not allowed to ferry customers from point-to-point in the National capital.

The company has also made a statement yesterday and the company has not done a very good job as they have been blaming others. The company is just trying to sweep the incident under the carpet. Uber’s CEO Travis Kalanick issued a statement earlier today and instead of accepting the mistake he was blaming the Indian Government. Well, the hings are critical and currently, Uber has been banned in India. So, do stay tuned while we collect more information regarding the Uber’s case.
