Jolla Sailfish smartphone

Sailfish OS was revealed couple of years back and we do knew that it will come to Indian market and finally we can see it trending in the latest headlines. Sailfish based Jolla launched in India and will be available for purchase online at Snapdeal and as we said earlier most of the brands do now believe that its better to sell the devices online.

Jolla specs contains 4.5-inch IPS qHD display and has 1.4GHz dual-core processor combined with 1GB RAM. For connectivity it has  Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and do supports LTE networks as well. On the back it features an 8-megapixel camera and has 2-megapixel front-facing camera as well. As we told above the smartphone runs on Sailfish OS and those who don’t know about it we want to tell it to them that its a Linux based OS and do supports Android apps but there is no playstore on board but you can download apps and can run it on the smartphone.

For power there is a 2,100mAh battery. In total the specs are quite good but the price of the device is Rs 16,499 which we think it a bit higher and today HTC launched Desire 816G and it do contain power packed specs and it costs 2k more but still the specs are better than it. But it all comes to the OS war. If you are looking for some change we do recommend to go for the Sailfish but if you are concerned about the specs stick to HTC Desire 816G and there are also other devices too.

Snapdeal has already started taking orders and the first 90 customers will get a VIP box that will have Aloe, Poppy Red, and Keira Black color back covers. So if you have made your mind, go ahead and place your order now. Do stay tuned for the mobile phones compare.
