Panasonic, the MNC from Japan has launched their new smartphone Panasonic P55. The P55 carries the moderate specs and has been priced for around Rs 10,290 in India and will be available in the first week of the November. The device will set up a competition against Xolo Q2000, Micromax Canvas XL and Lava Iris 550Q.
Talking about the Panasonic P55 specs, the device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core chip mated with 1 GB of RAM. On the front, the device carries a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display alongside with a 2-megapixel front shooter and on the back, there is an 8-megapixel of camera with an LED flash and is able to shoot FHD videos. The device has somewhat a low storage of about 4GB of ROM where the present devices carry about 8 GB of ROM. It can be further expandable upto 32 GB using a microSD card.
Other specs include an additional play button to wake up the device instead of using the power button, a 2,500 mAh battery gives about two days of operation under normal usage. Data-wise, the device has enabled 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with GPS/AGPS support. On the software front, the device runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box.
