Oppo has launched a few smartphones last year in India and today, they are back with their Oppo R1. This phone was showcased earlier this year and the company is working on a few more phones for this year. This smartphone is having some nice features and this is actually a mid-range Android smartphone which is going to give a good competition to some of the Nokia smartphones running on Windows Phone operating system and also, it will be giving competition to the smartphones like Gionee Elife E6 in the country.
The Oppo R1 is having a 5-inch IPS HD capacitive touch display which is 1280 x 720 pixels in resolution. The pixel density of this screen is also going to be good. It is running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and at this current moment, we do not know whether it will receive the software updates in future or not.
This smartphone is a dual-SIM device and is having connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well. On the back, there is an 8-Megapixel camera present which is capable of shooting 1080p HD videos and on front, a 5-Megapixel camera is there for making the video calls. Both these camera’s are powered with the PI technology. It packs a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor along with with 1GB of RAM. This is going to help you a lot with your day-to-day multi-tasking.
The internal storage of the Oppo R1 is 16GB and you can expand the external storage upto 32GB Via a microSD card slot. A 2,410mAh battery is there to provide power to this smartphone. The Oppo R1 is priced at Ts. 26,990/- and we think that you should spend your money very well as by paying a few bucks more or less you can get smartphones with better features.
