Every smartphone manufacturer are selling their smartphones online and there are some companies who are not interested to make their sales on offline basis, but suddenly for them their decisions are changed. Earlier this month, Xiaomi came up with the plan that they will sell their devices online too and now reports are coming with the same story for Motorola.
If you remember, the flash sales were not there unless Motorola came up with their Moto G and it completely exploded the online sale and the response that they got was huge and hence they stick to that plan and never thought of selling their devices offline. But now after making themselves as a permanent player in India, it is quite safe for them that they can now start selling their devices offline. Along with that, Lenovo owned Motorola, has also started manufacturing the device here in the country.
“Motorola will go offline to make sure that more people buy Motorola products from brick-and-mortar stores in India,” Chen Xudong, Chairman of Motorola Mobility operation board told Economic Times.
Now looks like that Motorola will get more share in the Indian market and what will be output from their decision will be seen in the future. Do let us know in the comments that smartphones should be sold both via Online/Offline mode or should shift to online mode.
