Today, Motorola hosted an event in New Delhi where they have launched the Moto X Play here in India and along with that they have shared some stats regarding their sales in the country. At the event Motorola revealed that they have sold over 5.6 million smartphones via Flipkart and they didn’t shared much details. However, Flipkart’s Director Sandeep Karwa took one step further and tweeted that 5 lakh units of Moto G 3rd Gen are sold till this date via Flipkart.

Since Moto G3 is being sold via Flipkart only and hence the results are quite awesome. Along with that at the event Motorola India’s GM Amit Boni told that the Moto G 3rd Gen sales are 40% more than the previous Generation. And with that, we think that Motorola will stick to Flipkart and will not move to any other eCommerce sites, like its competitors have done.
Also Moto X Play is launched in India today and will be available via Flipkart from midnight and you can go ahead and place your order. The device packs quite good features and the price of the 16GB variant is 18,499. You can also check our Moto G 3rd Gen Review video on YouTube.
