Moto G3 Box

A few months ago, the Motorola Moto E(2nd Gen) was launched in India and after that the anticipation of the arrival of Moto G 3rd Gen began. So, the smartphone has finally arrived in India, and this time the device is firstly launched in India. The handset is quite good and it is carrying a lot of expectations as it is the successor to the 2nd Gen Moto G which was a massive hit. Also, Motorola is also participating in the project “Make in India” and now, the smartphone is manufactured in India. This will lead to further decrease in the prices.

Moto G 3rd Gen Unboxing:

DSC_0156We have already done the Moto G 3rd Gen Unboxing video and thus, you can also watch the video of the same below. The Moto G 3rd Gen is a feature rich smartphone which is coming with a lot of good features, and you can see that this time the charger comes with dual USB ports and you can charge the other devices as well. Also, the company will allow you to charge the Moto 360 using this charger as well.

DSC_0162What’s in the box?

  • Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen
  • microUSB to USB based data cable
  • dual-USB based charger
  • 3.5mm headphones
  • User Manual in English and Hindi
  • Warranty Cards

Motorola Moto 3rd Gen Unboxing The Motorola Moto 3rd Gen box looks quite good, the packaging was done very well. It reminds us about the old box, but the color is totally different now. It is matched with the theme color. Anyway, the smartphone comes with the headphones which is a relieve as Lenovo K3 Note didn’t came with any headphone and that was a lag. So, Motorola is not in favor of taking the risks and thus, they have included those in the box.

DSC_0166The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen is coming with a 5-inch HD display, which offers a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. This is a IPS display, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The pixel density of this device is 294ppi, which sounds good to us for a smartphone in this price range. The resolution is the thing, which the company should have improved as Xiaomi Mi 4i and Lenovo K3 Note, both comes with 1080p display and they are priced low as compared to this.

DSC_0178The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen Unboxing video is also attached below, so do watch that as well. So, the smartphone is coming with Android Lollipop and the device is wrapped with it’s own user interface, which seems to be quite good. Currently, Lenovo has acquired Motorola and thus, they are also manufacturing their smartphones in India as well.

DSC_0182The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen is 142.1 x 72.4 x 11.6 mm in dimensions and it weighs about 155. So, this is not the slimmest phone out there in the planet, and also it is not the lightest phone out there. These two things go side by side and are quite okay. The smartphone is now IPX7 certified, which means that it is water resistant for 30 minutes.

DSC_0136The smartphone is supporting dual-SIM card slots and it is a 4G LTE device. On connectivity features front, the handset is supporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB port which can be used for data syncing and charging and 3.5mm headphone jack. The device comes with a non-removable battery and the company has completely sealed the battery under the aluminum coating and you cannot even see the battery from outside.

DSC_0187The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen is coming with 13-Megapixel camera which is supported by the dual tone LED flash and it is capable of recording 1080p HD videos at 30fps. This is also a good features included in this phone. On the front, there is a 5-Megapixel camera and now, this handset supports HDR as well. We have used HDR and have found some fascinating results, which we will share in our complete review.

DSC_0166The design of this smartphone is quite good, the company hasn’t done any big change to the design of this smartphone, but still it iis quite comfortable to hold in hands. The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen is powered by Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor. The device is available in both 8GB/16GB internal storage variants. Well, the difference is that if you own the 8GB model you will get 1GB of RAM, and if yow own 16GB model then, you will get 2GB of RAM. We have got the 16GB model based review unit and thus, it comes with 2GB of RAM as well.
DSC_0186The consumers can also expand the external storage upto 32GB using a microSD card slot. So, there you go guys that was the complete Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen Unboxing and Hands on experience. You can watch the Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen Unboxing video below and do check out the Image Gallery below. Stay tuned for the complete review of this handset. It is available now, and it is priced at Rs. 12,999.
