Microsoft has launched a wearable device today and at last they did it finally. They have launched the Microsoft Band and this is company’s first wearable stuff. We have already seen a lot of wearable devices in the market from many different companies and this is the latest one. This is a smartwatch cum fitness tracker. So, you are going to get a combo with this device. The Microsoft Band specs are quite good. This wearable device is going to be just like the Samsung Gear Fit which we saw earlier this year.

The Microsoft Band works with Android, Windows Phone and iOS devices. This device is highly recommended for two things, “have people live healthier, and be more productive, by having a band that can serve on the opposite side of your watch, worn 24 hours a day, and get some of the most accurate data that you can possibly get,” said Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President of Devices and Services.

The Microsoft Band is surely going to keep a good watch on your health.

“The truth is there’s all sorts of wearable tech that other people have, and our platform will be happy to accept that data, and deliver data and insights back. So with different types of wearable — on your wrist, on your head, on your body — who knows what the right idea is? We wanted to take the approach of saying let’s bring the industry along, and contribute.”
