Micromax Unite 3

A few months ago, the Indian based tech giant—Micromax–launched it’s Unite 2. It is a good smartphone with Android Lollipop, but have you heard about the Micromax Canvas Unite 3? No. Well, today we have spotted this device on Flipkart. At this moment, we do not know whether it is a mistake or not. The specs of the Unite 3 are totally same to the Unite 2, but there is a difference in the rear camera and price. The Unite 3 is priced at Rs. 7,599 on the online retailer. On the other hand, another seller is selling the Unite 2 at Rs. 6,999.

The Unite 3 page showed that the device has got an 8-Megaixel rear camera, while the Unite 2 arrives with a 5-Megapixel camera on back. So, is it real? At this moment, no one is clear, but we are surely going to contact Micromax regarding this so that they can share the exact info.

For now, it is not clear as the model number is also different. It comes with a model number Q372, while the Unite 2 has got A106 as it’s model number. If it is for real, then Micromax Unite 3 comes with a 4.7-inch FWVGA display which offers a screen resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. It is running on Android Lollipop.

The internal storage of this device is 8GB and the user’s can also expand the external storage upto 32GB via a microSD card. The device comes with similar connectivity feature. Apart from that, the Unite 3 comes with a Quad-Core processor. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is also there to protect the touchscreen. Overall, if this is true then, it is the successor to the Unite 2 which the company has never revealed.
