A few weeks ago, Micormax Canvas Unite 3 appeared on Flipkart and eBay, and at that time, Micromax told Gadgetgyaan that it is not an official launch. In the mean time, we have seen a lot of announcements and launch buzz around the web, but those were not true. Micromax Canvas Unite 3 is launched in India today officially. The handset was already showcased over at Twitter and the Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 media teaser has already arrived in our mail box. The specs of this device are quite good and it competes against the Redmi 2.
The Micromax Canvas Unite 3 comes with 4.7-inch WVGA IPS display which offers a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The touchscreen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display should be good, but we need to test this phone before giving our views.
The Micromax Canvas Unite 3 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. On the back of this device, there is an 8-Megapixel AutoFoucus camera present which is capable of shooting good quality videos. On front, there is a 2-Megapixel Fixed Focus camera. It is a 3G only device and supports connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Micromax Canvas Unite 3 comes with HotKnot, First Touch Launcher, Talkback and Smart Awake. It comes with an internal storage of 8GB and the users can also expand the external storage upto 32GB via a microSD card. It is running on Android Lollipop platform and it is loaded with Ask me, Chaatz, Clean Master, Dr. Safety, News Hunt, Facebook Messenger and much more.
The MIcromax Canvas Unite 3 supports 10 regional languages—Hindi, Gujrati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi and Malayalam. The device comes with an App bazaar in regional languages which enables the consumers to download more than 10,000 applications in their regional languages and an intuitive Menu in regional languages with sound assistance and more. The Micromax Canvas Unite 3 is priced at Rs. 6,999 and it is available now for purchase.
