The year is going very well for Micromax, they entered in Top 10 Smartphone manufacturers and the company is going towards sky regularly. A few days ago, Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 was launched in India, and today, the Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens is launched in the country. The handset looks very good in terms of the feature and specifications. The Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens is kind of a successor to Micromax Canvas Selfie which was launched earlier this year. The handset is priced at Rs 8,299 and it will be available in the markets soon.

The Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, which offers a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is running on Android Lollipop. This display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and the pixel density of this handset should be fairly good.

This smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor and 1GB of DDR3 RAM. The internal storage of this device is 8GB and you can expand the external storage upto 32GB via a microSD card. It will be available in  in White + Champagne and Moondust Gray colors. It will be available both via online and offline. 

The Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens comes with an 8-Megapixel AF rear camera with Largan Lens and OV Sensors, On front, there is a 5-Megapixel Fixed Focus camera which is capable of taking 0.4x wide selfies. It is a dual SIM 3G only device and supports connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Vodafone users will get 500MB 3G data free for 2 months.

The Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens comes with a 2,800mAh battery which will give you a talk time of 9 hours and a standby time of 374 hours. The phone camera has the compelling inbuilt pre and post settings for easy editing.

While the pre-settings allow the user to capture pretty selfies on the aspects of skin smoothening, sharpening and eye enlargement before clicking a selfie, the post-settings help remove under eye bags, blemishes, make skin soft, brighter and eyes bigger, brighter. The strength of the pre-settings can be set at 3 levels or customized as required.
