Micromax launched their first new phone for 2015 and added it to the Canvas series. Micromax Canvas Hue is the name of the device that’s launched in India today and packs some good specs and features but the price of the smartphone is bit high and will surely face stiff competition in the Indian market.

For the Micromax Canvas Hue specs, it has a 5-inch AMOLED display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is also present. On the back, there is an 8-megapixel AF camera with Flash and on the front there is 2 megapixel camera. Canvas Hue is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and has 1GB RAM.

The device runs on Android 4.4.2 out of the box but company says that the device can be upgraded to Lollipop in future. For connectivity it has 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. It has 8GB internal storage and can be expanded using Micro SD card. There is a 3,000mAh battery present and Micromax promises that by using the Power Saving mode, the device will survive for 1 month without charging.

Micromax Canvas Hue is priced at Rs. 10,999 and will hit the online retail stores by 16th January. The device will face competition from its own sister Yureka since the price difference is very less and that device do has good features than this.
