Anyway, today the Lenovo P70 is launched in India. The handset was revealed a few months ago and finally, this device has hit the Indian shores. This is a mid-range handset which is going to give a good competition to the other smartphones present in this price range.
The Lenovo P70 comes with a 5-inch IPS multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display which offers a screen resolution of 1280 720 pixels. The handset is packing a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor along with 2GB of RAM. The pixel density of this device is going to be good and also, the multi-tasking will be quite smooth in this handset as it is packing a chipset consisting of eight-cores.
The Lenvo P70 comes with the connectivity feature like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well. The internal storage of this handset is 32GB and the users can also expand the external storage upto 32GB via a microSD card. On the back, there is a 13-Megapixel camera present which is capable of shooting 1080p HD videos at 30fps. Also, on the front there is a 5-Megapixel camera present for making the video calls. The handset is running on Android 4.4 KitKat platform and we do not think that it will receive the Android Lollipop update.
The Lenovo P70 comes with a gigantic 4,000mAh battery which is going to give the users a lot of stand by time and will provide 18 hours of talk time. It is going to face competition from Asus Zenfone 6, HTC 626G+ and many other smartphones. The Lenovo P70 is priced at Rs. 15,999 and it is going to be available by April, 14th.
