Chromebooks are soon going to be the future. But finally, Lenovo has entered the Chrome market. Chrome OS has significantly become one of the popular OS. Since the OS is used less and hence there is no virus till now. Anyway, Lenovo launched N20 and N20p Chromebooks. Specs for both the devices are similar and are quite downgraded.
Lenovo N20 and N20p packs Intel Celeron processors and you can get a max of 16GB hard disk. 4GB RAM is there. 11.6-inch display with 1366×768 resolution. Beside that there is 1 megapixel camera also. For connectivity there are two USB ports, Card Reader and HDMI port is also present. 295 mm x 212 mm x 17.9 mm is the dimensions of the chromebooks.According analysts in the next 5 years, 11 million units of Chromebook will be shipped. Last year 2.1 million units were sold. On this side, Chromebook are being sold by various companies but consumers are not interested int it. And we hope that consumers thinking will surely change towards the Chrome OS in the future.
The main difference between N20 and N20p is that N20p is a touchscreen based laptop and you can rotate it upto 300°. Both the devices will survive for 8 hours on battery and it sounds really good. In terms of price, it will take $279 for N20 where as for the touch sensitive N20p you have to pay $329.
We don’t know whether Lenovo will launch the Chromebooks here in India or not. But soon we will come to know. The one problem that most of the consumers will face is that you will not be able to run on Windows on it. Anyway, there are already many Chromebooks available in the market and you can either wait for this one or you can go for those available in the market,
