Lenovo is on fire these a day, the company has already launched the Lenovo A7000, Lenovo A6000 Plus in India and following them, Lenovo A5000 has also arrived in India. Today, this smartphone is launched in India silently. It was spotted last week and the rumors were already there about its launch. Lenovo A5000 comes with a gigantic 4,000mAh battery which is a highlighting feature of this smartphone.

On the spec front, it comes with a 5-inch HD display, which offers a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The pixel density of this device should be good too. It is running on Android KitKat and we think that it will receive the Android Lollipop update very soon. But, they should have established it with an Android L as competition is at its peak point.

The Lenovo A5000 comes with an 8-Megapixel rear camera which is capable of shooting good HD quality videos. In front, there is a 2-Megapixel camera present for taking selfies and making video calls. It comes with a 1.3GHz MediaTek Quad-Core processor along with 1GB of RAM.

The internal memory of this smartphone is 8GB and the users can also expand the external storage up to 32GB via a MicroSD card. On the connectivity front, it adds up with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Lenvo A5000 comes with a fair amount of specification, but the price of this handset is not justified.

The Motorola Moto E 2nd Gen and Honor 4X are there to compete against this smartphone and also, they have better specs than this as the Honor 4X offers an octa-core processor and both these smartphones provide 4G support. Also, the good thing about the A5000 is a bigger battery which is a 4,000mAh battery. It is priced at Rs. 9,999 and is now up for pre-order on Lenovo’s TheDoStore.
