Lava supports “Make in India”, shifts from China

As per the Economic Times, the company Lava is going to migrate its manufacturing unit from India to the China. The decision behind this step is the initiative “Make-in-India” made by our PM Mr. Narendra Modi.

As the Lava being the fourth biggest smartphone company in India and making its fourthmost shares in India, the company is going to take this step. The company has a repairing plant currently running in Noida and the company will change this plant to the manufacturing unit with an initial invest of INR 20-30 crores and this plant will be able to manufacture upto 200,000 units per month.

In between this, Hari Om Rai, the Chairman and Managing Director of Lava International said :-

[blockquote]We are just about to finalize six places in three states to accommodate the entire ecosystem around handset manufacturing, one of which will house the company’s plant as well.

The central government is giving 25 percent subsidy and various state governments are offering VAT-free operations, among othersair track tumbling


This step will let the user to be free from Vat’s and this will also let the more job opportunities and will let the country’s growth. Some other companies in trans are also going to make this step soon.
