Today, the Indian mobile company Karbonn has launched the Karbonn Aura 9 at a good price range. This is the latest phone from the company and it is coming with a lot of cool features too.  The device runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat and survives on a bulky 4,000 mAh battery which is a key feature for this device.

Talking about the specs, the Karbonn Aura 9 comes with a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display and there is no protection on the screen like the Corning Gorilla Glass present on most of the similar price tagged devices available in the market. Anyway, the device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quadcore chip mated with 1GB of RAM which is the sort of similar specs as we have seen under the 6k devices. The device has a vacancy of 8GB of internal storage which can be further expandable upto 32GB using a microSD card.

The Karbonn does not support 4G, but it is a 3G enabled device, which supports Wi-Fi and it is coming with SIM card slots. The device supports 21 Indian Regional languages and has some cool gestures that can be used on the lock screen of the device.

On the camera side, the device supports an 8-megapixel rear facing camera with an LED flash and on the front side of the Karbonn Aura 9 , there is a 5-megapixel camera present to take some good selfies.

Till now, the device runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box, but we are not sure whether it will receive the future updates or not. Till then users can enjoy the battery life as it can give at least 10 hours of talktime and 300 hours of standby time which is claimed by the company.  Karbonn Aura 9 is priced at Rs. 6,490 and it is available in the market in different colors.
