Intel is among the largest processor maker in the world and dominates in its field. Each year, Intel reveals their new processors and they did the same at CES 2015. Intel 5th Gen processors are finally showcased and the company named them ‘Broadwell’. The 14nm chip is going to power the upcoming 2015 PCs.
In compare to the Haswell processors there are just minor improvements. The company still has the i3, i5 and the i7 segment. Major change being made is that the entry level processors will be now dual core and not single core. Battery life has been increased by just 1 hour 30 minutes and is still case sensitive and do requires to follow some properties to get the optimal result. 22% improvement is there in 3D graphics. Most of the companies here at CES has already revealed their Laptops and PCs powered by the Intel 5th Gen processor.
With each processor the size is gradually decreasing and the performance is increasing. We do hope that Broadwell powered devices will be soon out there so that we can test it and will let you know about its performance. Do take a look at all the processors from the company for this year below.
