The Taiwanese tech giant was teasing about their ‘Desire’ phone for CES, 2015. Earlier today, we saw the HTC Desire 320 and we thought that it was the only phone, but we were wrong. Today, the company has announced the new HTC Desire 826. This device looks very similar to the HTC Desire 820, but it has got some upgraded specifications. This device is just the modifications of the Desire 820 and it is much better than the HTC Desire 820. The Taiwanese tech giant is going to roll out this smartphone globally later this year.
The HTC Desire 826 is having a 5.5-inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display which offers a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is having a ployvarbonate body which is something new and also, this device is powered by the 1.7GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage of this device is 16GB and you can expand the external storage in this device as well.
The HTC Desire 826 has now got the BoomSound speakers which were missing in the Desire 820. Also, it is running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system along with the HTC Sense 6 UI. A 13-Megapixel camera is present on the back of this device which is capable of shooting 1080p HD videos. On the front, there is a 4-Ultrapixel camera present which is the upgrade from an 8-Megapixel camera to a 4-Ultrapixel camera.

The handset also comes with a better display which has not been upgraded to 1080p as compared to the 720p which we saw on the Desire 820. It is a slim device and is going to do very well with multitasking. The HTC Desie 826 is having all the basic connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well. The price of this device has not been revealed yet, but it will be launched in some Asian countries and the rollout will begin later this month.
