Honor aims to achieve 300% growth in smartphone sales in India

HonorA few weeks ago, Honor launched two new products–The Honor 5X and the Holly 2 Plus. Well, these two products are quite good and shows great potential especially,the 5X. At the launch event, the company shared that they have achieved a lot in India. Not only that, they have sold millions of phones, but those phones were appreciated by the consumers too. Honor is a part of Huawei, which is now in the list of top 3 smartphone makers. So, today we have got some analytics to share with you. Honor reiterates commitment to India and looks at 300% growth in the sale of smartphone units in India. 

The analysis is shared after a thorough review and we can see some great results for Honor this year. The company may replace a few places in the smartphone seller list in India if they achieve 300% growth in smartphone unit sales. According to Mr. Allen Wang, President of Consumer Business Group, Huawei India, “From our extensive research and understanding of the Indian market, we found out that our target audience is looking at not just a price competitive nice phone but one that demonstrates best in class quality and the premium experience. Before launching a product we do field testing in at least 50 cities in India. We will be launching, at least, one product each season which will be targeted at various market categories from the high end to the entry level market.”

“In 2016, the company is considering to form relationships and cooperation with FMCG and entertainment industries, promoting its influence and brand awareness in different consuming fields. In terms of e-business, Honor will strengthen its cooperation with Flipkart, Snapdeal, and Amazon”. Mr. Wang added.

It is truly becoming a bigger brand day by day. They have launched a few ‘No Nonsense’ phones, which included the Honor 5X as well. So, after committing to such an important statement, we are now very excited to see the upcoming Honor products for India.
