Google Pixel 2

A few days ago, nope, actually a few months ago we heard about the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL. Well, it was their first official phone apart from the Nexus branding, but the Pixel phones got attention. Google failed to share the units with their customers as they were out of stock and people were waiting for months and weeks. Shame! But, they are back now with Google Pixel and Pixel XL.

Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL specs:

Google Pixel 2 is coming with the 5-inch FHD display. which is lower than the Infinity displays provided by Samsung Galaxy S8, Note 8 and even Apple iPhone X . Also, a bad news for 2017 people, there is no infinity display at all. So, you are not going to get that stuff, but good for you guys who do not like that.

Google Pixel 2 XL is coming with 6-inch pOLED display and both these devices are running on Android 8.0 which is Android Oreo. Both these devices are coming with 4GB of RAM and are available in 64GB and 128GB storage options.

The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL  are also water and dust resistant to IP67 and fast charging. The company is also assuring that these smartphones are going to give a battery backup of 7 hours after 15 minutes of charge. This will be worth testing out.

Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are available for pre-order today starting at $649 in the U.S. Both products are also available in Australia, Canada, Germany, India and U.K. It also supports USB C port as well. A 12.2 Megapixel camera is present on the back of these handsets and an 8 MP camera is there on the front. So, there are no dual cameras. Bummer! But, Google explained why one camera and not two, and they also mocked Apple in the above video.

Google has also announced the new PixelBook and Pixel headphones and you can check those out on our website as well. Anyway, we will be back with the updates on these phones in the morning.
