The year is coming toward’s it’s end and the smartphone family is witnessing new and new devices regularly. A few days ago, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Apple iPhone 6 has been launched and these devices are two hottest smartphones of this year. They have been very famous and the specs on these devices are too good. These devices have got a new competitor and it’s name is Google Nexus 6. It is that Nexus 6 which was leaked with the name of ‘Motorola Shamu’ and has been in the rumor pipe line for a very long time, but today it finally made a cut.

The Google Nexus 6 is having a 6-inch Quad-HD display which offers a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. This is the same screen resolution which we have seen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but it is missing the Super AMOLED display which we found on the Galaxy Note 4.

The Google Nexus 6 is going to be available in both 32GB and 64GB model, but there is no word spoken on the microSD card slot. So, at this moment we are not sure about the microSD card slot.

This device is manufactured by Motorola and there is a Motorola logo on the back of this device as well. What’s make the Nexus series special?

There is a story behind it. With every Nexus device, Google launched a new Android operating system. They have done the same for today. The Android 5.0 Lollipop has been announced today. It is specifically known as the Android L. This screen is providing a pixel density of 493ppi.

There is a 13-Megapixel camera present on the back of the Google Nexus 6 along with dual-LED flash and it can shoot videos in 4K mode too. On the front of this device there is a 2-Megapixel camera present for making video calls.

This smartphone is having connectivity features like 4G+LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well. It is packing a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor along with 3GB of RAM. A 3,220mAh battery is there to provide power to this smartphone and also, it has got the Wireless charging enabled. It is priced at $649 and it will be available in US from October, 29th onwards.
