Firefox on iPad

Mozilla one of the popular browser was there on the iOS devices but because of Apple’s terms and conditions, Mozilla’s CEO removed the app from iOS store and said will return once Apple agree to allow Mozilla to user their web engine. Now according to TechCrunch there is change in plan. Since the CEO has changed for Mozilla and it looks like the possibilities have increased.

Mozilla hasn’t revealed anything officially but there are a lot of sources pointing towards the title. Firefox release manager mentioned that:

So there you go. We do think that these proofs are enough that iOS devices will soon get Firefox. The overall clash was because of 3rd party issue since Mozilla wanted to user their own Web engine where as Apple asked them to built the browser using the kit provided by them and lead to the clash and the consumers suffered. Looks like everything is fine now and lets see when Firefox comes for iPhone and iPad.
