Blackberry Passport launched in India, price detailed

The year is coming towards the end and the smartphone giants are showcasing their end year products before the festive season. A few days back, the Blackberry Passport was launched officially and today, Blackberry India launched it. Well, we have seen smartphone with curved designs, round designs and much more, but this device is having the unique square design. This phone is having a big screen as well and the Canadian company has tried to bring their big phone with their awesome QWERTY keyboard.

The Blackberry Passport is going to give a tough competition to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Sony Xperia Z3 here in India. Blackberry Passport specs contains 4.5-inch Square display and it can show 60 characters per line. So, it is quite good as normally the other devices like iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5 can show 28-33 characters per line.

The screen is not the only thing, you are also getting the premium Blackberry QWERTY keyboard which is their main thing. The devcie is having the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display and it is having a resolution of 1440×1440 pixels and this display offers a pixel density of 453ppi. The Blackberry Passport is running on the Blackberry 10.3 operating system.

This device is having connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well. On the back, there is a 13-Megapixel camera with optical stabilization and it is capable of shooting good quality videos. On the front, there is a 2-Megapixel camera which is there for making the video calls. This device is packing a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor along with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

The Blackberry Passport is having a 3,450mAh battery which will provide power to this smartphone. It is also having the lTE connectivity feature. The Blackberry Passport is priced at Rs. 49,990/- in India.
