A few months ago, the tech giant Asus unveiled their own Asus ZenWatch 2 at Computex, 2015, which also witnessed a lot of announces from different companies. The company has now revealed all the specs of their smartwatch at IFA 2015 which is held at Berlin. It also features a Qualcomm chipset, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage.
The Asus ZenWatch 2features a 400mAh battery, on which the company claims its usability upto 2.5 days on “ambient mode,” while the low variant comes with a 300mAh battery that makes its usability enough for up to two days. The smartwatch also comes with a magnetic charger with fast charging which can charge the smartwatch to 50 percent in just over half hour. The ZenWatch 2 also features IP67 certification that makes it resistant to dust and water..
The smartwatch has also got it’s Deluxe version, which is also revealed a few day ago and that is also a good one, but that is costly too. It was also good.
Talking about the physique, the Asus ZenWatch 2 also features a physical button on the side, and comes in two sizes. You can either choose the bigger 49mm variant with a 22mm strap, or the smaller 45mm variant with a thinner 18mm strap.
Data-wise, the smartwatch include Wi-Fi, which means you can connect to your phone directly as long as both are on the same Wi-Fi network. On the software front, it runs on Android Wear. Asus’ ZenWatch 2 will go on sale in select markets from October onwards, priced at around $170 or Rs 11,260 approximately for the smaller variant and $190 or Rs 12,580 approximately for the larger variants.
