Apple’s iOS 8.1 update starts rolling

Another piece of good news for Apple customers as Apple just started rolling the iOS 8.1 update. Last week Apple announced that they would be rolling out the iOS 8.1 update from Monday along with launching of their new line up of iPads and iMacs. Since the iOS 8 had some bugs and the Cupertino giant decided to fix these for the users.

Among the new features and improvements iOS 8.1 includes the support for Apple Pay, Apple’s new payment service. It adds the ability for iPhone users to send and receive SMS and MMS text messages from their¬†iPad and iMac. Camera Roll is back with fixes. Also, the OS brings bug fixes to the Wi-Fi performance issue¬†and other issues for the devices.

As Usual Apple delivered the update right on time and if you own iPhone 4s, iPad 2, iPad mini or any newer device than these then hurry up start updating your device now.

To update your iOS device to iOS 8.1, just go to Settings>>General>>Software Update. You can also update your iOS device via your computer through iTunes, for that head to summary page and select check for updates. The update is around 117 MB in size.
