Apple has announced the iOS 11 earlier this year, and after it’s successful roll out many people are complaining about the slow speeds on older iPhones. I have been using the iPhone 6 for last 3 years. I think that iOS 11 has made it a little slow and there were a lot of bugs in the public beta as well in the earlier stages. Today, Apple has released iOS 11.2.5 Public Beta 2, which is a surprise as just, this Friday they rolled out the iOS 11.2.5 Public Beta. There was no news about this beta coming out. This update is the iOS 11.2.5 Public Beta 2, so if you are not enrolled in the Public Beta programmed with an approved certificate. You are not going to get such thing. It is only for public testers. They are willing to take the risk and engage themselves with Apple to help.
Why iOS 11.2.5 public beta 2?
When the iOS 11.2.1 was released there was a security lag, with this beta that patch has been resolved. People are also complaining about a haptic bug, which may be present in the iPhone 6S and iPhone 7. The iPhone X and 8 users are not saying about this issue.
The Cupertino tech giant is recently getting some bad news with it’s operating systems. Recently, we have seen a major MacOS security issue, which got fixed with in 24 hours, but a lag is a lag. What we are left with is the older iPhones getting slow with these updates.
So, if you are one of the public beta testers, we will ask you to update your phone to iOS 11.2.5 Public Beta 2 because of the camera bug. For iPhone 6, it is a 91MB update. So, you can download it over-the-air. This iOS 11.2.5 Public Beta 2 is going to be the last update before Christmas. We we are expecting a complete roll out for all the users around the end of this year.
