Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus launched

Cupertino Giant has finally revealed at their event about the most awaited iPhone. They again launched two variants for the iPhone this year and they are the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 plus. The plus variant is launched in competition of Samsung’s note and other phablets. Since the event is still going on and we are expecting the iWatch as well.

For the specs of the device as it was rumored earlier today that the iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch while the iPhone 6 plus has 5.5 inch screen and has 1080 resolution and the folks over at Apple are calling it as Retina Display HD. It packs the new A8 chip and is 25% faster than the previous version. The thickness for iPhone 6 is 6.9mm and 7.1mm for the iPhone 6 Plus. Both the devices are running on the latest version of iOS 8 and Apple has also teamed up with a lot of game developers for the iPhone.

Metal is used to play games. It do have 64 bit architecture and has 1GB RAM. New M8 motion co-processor is there as well. Wi-Fi calling is supported on both the devices. For clicks it has 8 megapixel iSight camera with true tone flash and has f/2.2 aperture. It supports 43MP of Panaroma mode.

Face detection and advanced burst mode is also there. OIS is just supported on the iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 6 lacks it. For video it supports 1080p recording with 30fps or 60 fps and also do supports slow motion with 240fps. Time-lapse photo mode is also there.

On software front Apple have added some new features for this version of iOS 8 for the iPhones. Leather cases are also there. The iPhone will be available in Black, White and Gold. The iPhone 6 price is $199, $299 and $399 for the 16GB, 64GB and the 128GB and is based on a 2 year contract. For the Indian users the price will be different and we will update you about that. iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299 and have $399 and $499 for 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants and the iPhones will be shipped on 19th September and the pre-orders will go live on 12th September. More than 115 countries will receive the iPhone by the end of 2014.

iOS 8 will be available for download from September 17th. So that’s all for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and now we are waiting for the iWatch. In the mean time please comment below about your opinion regarding Apple’s this release.
