Few weeks ago, we have heard about the launch of the Hyundai Eon that will be fitted with a 1.0 L engine. Well, today, Hyundai have launched that variant of Eon. The 1L tag really separates its from others and along with that Hyundai has provided a lot of good features in this car..
The Hyundai Eon 1.0 L as the name suggests is powered by a 1.0 L three cylinder engine refined under Hyundai’s Dual VTVT technology which is able to boost up the 69 PS of power and produces 9.6 kgm of torque at 3,500 rpm. This economic variant has been mentioned to provide 20.3 Km per L of mileage under the ARAI ratings. In the mean time the managing director said:
[blockquote cite=”B S Seo, Managing Director and CEO, HMIL”]Hyundai Eon has been a trendsetter of style, performance, design and finesse in its segment and has received good acceptability and appreciation from its customers. Hyundai consistently innovates to meet and exceed the demands of the customer and the 1.0 Litre Kappa engine now offered in Eon is an extension of our modern-premium brand philosophy and will delight our customers with unparalleled driving experience and further consolidate Hyundai’s position in the domestic market.[/blockquote]
Talking about the interior, the Eon 1L is accommodated with the limited number of features including the AC, power steering, front power windows and excluding the audio system, airbags and a internally adjustable mirrors. Rest all interiors resides the same.
The car has already been dispatched to the ex-showrooms and dealers in several parts of the country. There is no such changes on the exterior of the car. The car is physically the same as the old Hyundai Eon with 0.8 cc motor. The only differential tags are the “1.0L” tag on the boot along with a “Kappa” tag on the driver side fenders. A tag of “K 1.0” also resides on the engine cover too.
