Earlier today, Micromax Canvas Spark is launched in India and it is a very budget price. Since it has been priced for around Rs. 4999, the device carries a quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Various other rivals include Moto E , Lenovo A7000 and Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes under similar price range. So, further we will compare the MIcromax Canvas Spark with each one after the other.

 

Micromax Canvas Spark vs Moto E(2nd Gen):

 

MIcromax Canvas Spark carries a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display whereas on Moto E, it is 4.5-inch qHD TFT display and both this device carries a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating on the screen. Micromax Canvas Spark carries a MediaTek MT6582M quad-core chip and Moto E carries 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset(3G model) and 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit chipset(4G model). Both the device carries a 1GB DDR3 RAM and 8 GB of ROM and the memory of both device can be expandable upto 32GB using a microSD card.

Moto E 3G

 

The Canvas Spark sports an 8-megapixel AF camera with LED flash and M8 Largan lens along with OV 8858 sensor and on the front, there is a 2-megapixel of camera. Whereas on Moto E, the rear camera is 5-megapixel and on the front, it is 0.3-megapixel.

 

The Canvas Spark survives on a 2000 mAh battery, which is 390mAh lesser than Moto E, means Moto E has 2390mAh battery. Both the devices comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and there is no surety about the future updates. The Canvas Spark is priced for about Rs. 4999 whereas Moto E 2nd Gen. is priced for Rs. 6999(3G model) and Rs. 7999(4G model) respectively.

 

Micromax Canvas Spark vs Lenovo A7000:

 

Micromax Canvas Spark carries a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 whereas Lenovo A7000 carries a 5.0-inch HD IPS display but without protection.Canvas Spark carries a MediaTek MT6582M quad-core chip and Lenovo A7000 carries new 64-bit 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset. Spark carries 1GB of RAM, 8 GB of ROM and an expandable storage upto 32GB using a microSD card, whereas Lenovo A7000 has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM and the external storage can be expanded upto 32GB using a microSD card.

Lenovo A7000

 

Both the device carries the same front 2-megapixel shooter and 8-megapixel rear shooter but the Spark has M8 Largan lens along with OV 8858 sensor on the rear shooter. The spark has a 2000 mAh battery whereas on Lenovo A7000, it is 2300 mAh.

 

Canvas Spark is priced for Rs. 4999 and Lenovo A7000 is priced for Rs. 7499. Canvas Spark runs on Lollipop 5.0 out of the box whereas Lenovo A7000 runs on Kitkat 4.4.2 out of the box.

 

Micromax Canvas Spark vs Xiaomi Redmi 2:

 

Micromax Canvas Spark carries a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 whereas Xiaomi Redmi 2 carries a 4.7-inch HD sharp/AOC display with AGC Dragontrail Glass shield.Canvas Spark carries a MediaTek MT6582M quad-core chip and Xiaomi Redmi 2 carries new 64-bit 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset. Both the device carries a 1 GB DDR3 RAM and 8 GB of ROM and the memory of both device can be expandable upto 32 GB using a microSD card.

Xiaomi Redmi 2

 

Both the device carries the same front 2-meagpixel shooter and 8-megapixel rear shooter but the Spark has M8 Largan lens along with OV 8858 sensor on the rear shooter. The spark has a 2000 mAh battery whereas on Xiaomi Redmi 2, it is 2200 mAh. Micromax Canvas Spark can shoot 1080p FHD videos whereas Xiaomi Redmi 2  can shoot only 720p HD videos.

 

Canvas Spark is priced for Rs. 4999 and Xiaomi Redmi 2 is priced for Rs. 6,999. Canvas Spark runs on Lollipop 5.0 out of the box whereas Xiaomi Redmi 2 runs on Kitkat 4.4.4 out of the box.
