Facebook acquired WhatsApp revealed earlier this year that they are going to add Voice Calling feature in the app by the end of 2014 and now new reports revealed that the feature will make its debut in 2015 and CEO of WhatsApp have confirmed it. We do know that the feature is very important but have to wait.

According to WhatsApp CEO they said that they are facing problems and do have compatibility issues since the microphones of various smartphones are different and hence it will take time. Also they need to make it sure that the feature works with 2G network as well. Countries like India is emerging in telecommunications and more than 70% people are using 2G.

WhatsApp now has 600 million users and are growing very fast and will hit the billion mark very soon. CEO also confirmed that they are not going to monetize WhatsApp. Anyway whenever Whatsapp will add the feature we do hope that everyone using will like it. First quarter of 2015 is the final date if you are interested in knowing.
