The Korean tech giant did announced a few smartphones including the Samsung Galaxy S5 in the Q1 of this year and they are carrying the same spirit. Today, the company has launched the new Samsung Galaxy K Zoom. This is a camera specialized device from the Korean tech giant. This smartphone has not been launched globally and today, it has been showcased in Singapore. It is carrying some neat specs and you can find more about this smartphone below.

The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is having a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED capacitive touch display which is 1280 x 720 pixels in resolution. It is running on the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and at this current moment we do not know whether it will receive the software updates in future or not.

This smartphone is packing a Hexa-core processor and this is not a true Hexa-Core. It is similar to the processor of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo. It is actually a combination of a 1.3GHz Quad-Core and a 1.7GHz Dual-Core processor. It is having 2GB of RAM and the internal storage of this device is 8GB. You can expand the external storage upto 64GB via a microSD card. 

The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is equipped with a 20.7 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor for ultra-clear, ultra-detailed images on the back and the new lens technology allows 10x optical zoom. On the front of this smartphone there is a 2-Megapixel camera. It is a 3G only device and is having connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well. It is 137.5 x 70.8 x 16.6mm in dimensions and weighs about 200g.

The Galaxy K zoom is equipped with new retracting lens technology that provides10x optical zoom in a remarkably slim and chic body. Other notable features include the 20.7 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor for ultra-clear, ultra-detailed images. It excels in low light conditions, and provides Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS)to reduce blur caused by movement. These specifications ensure the device delivers pictures and video (Full HD) that are crisp and sharp, even when zoomed and in low light. In addition, the device’s Xenon Flash provides a brighter light than LEDs to improve the quality of the image with natural brilliance.

The new device also integrates the most advanced camera usability features and functions, including AF/AE Separation(Auto Focus/ Auto Exposure Separation) for the precise balance of light and clarity, next-generation Pro Suggest mode which offers 5 optimized filter settings, Selfie Alarm that allows users to take timed selfies with ease, and object tracing for a clear, focused shot of a moving subject.
