MWC 2016The technology is taking the smartphones, tablets and most importantly consumers to a next level. A few years ago, we found an Entertainment application which scanned the finger and allows the consumers to fool their friends, but now, we are using smartphones equipped with the fingerprint sensor. The smartphones shown above are just two examples. The readers can see Huawei Nexus 6P and Samsung Galaxy Note 5, these twos were included in the list of best smartphones of 2015, but it is 2016 now. Consumer Electronics Show is already done, now, it is time for MWC 2016.

Mobile World Congress is one of the biggest events, which is held every year in Barcelona. This year, the tech nerds can see a lot of smartphones and tablets there. Not to forget, VR sets are also coming there. This event focuses on smartphones and cellular companies are going to be there too.

The MWC 2016 will begin on February, 22nd and will end on 25th. These four days will be very crucial for technology world as in the next few months the consumers will meet these gadgets. We are just two days away from this Mega Event and we know about a lot of smartphones which are coming to MWC 2016. So, let’s go head and see what you can expect from the MWC 2016.

1. Samsung at MWC 2016:

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+From a couple of years, the Korean tech giant is showing a huge amount of interest at MWC. Before that, we couldn’t see the present of Samsung. They held their events separately, but now they are doing things in a different way. Anyway, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy S6 were showcased at MWC, 2015 and now, we can expect the Korean tech giant to launch the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was more popular than that of the original S6. We can see same results this year too. What do we need the most? We need to see the smartphones of 2016 running on Android Marshmallow out of the box. A

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was more popular than that of the original S6. We can see same results this year too. What do we need the most? We need to see the smartphones of 2016 running on Android Marshmallow out of the box. A few months have passed and only 1% of Android smartphones are running on Android M. Pity!

Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with a 5.1-inch display while the Edge will come with a 5.5-inch display. We can expect these smartphones to support a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This time, the users can see Magnesium design instead of Alloy design and oh yeah! by looks, it will be same.as of the S6.

These phones will boast the Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB of RAM. It is rumored that these smartphones are going to come with Water Resistance support, but the Iris Scanner thing is not happening this year. This time the Korean tech giant is usng a new camera sensor for improved low light performance. A 12-Megapixel Britcell camera sensor is rumored for the upcoming Samsung products. Anyway, these are some key features of the Galaxy S7, but the fun will begin from 22nd.

2. Sony:

Sony_Xperia_M4_Aqua_Front_CameraSony launched a lot of products last year, from their top most Sony Xperia Z5 Premiun(World’s First phone with a 4K display) to low priced smartphones, things didn’t go well. They are not at the worst stage, instead they are doing good, but noe the best. The last year’s rumors pegged a Sony phone for MWC 2016, and later on reports arrived that Sony Xperia Z6 is coming to the MWC. Is this true? Accrdoing to our point of view, we will not see the Xperia Z6 at MWC, but we never know the Japanese tech giant may surprise us. We are more positive about a tablet. Sony Xperia Z5 Tablet can be witnessed at MWC 2016. But, we can not confirm anything at this moment as things are too complicated as this moment. We will wait for now.

3. LG:

LG G4 vs Apple iPhone 6 vs Samsung Galaxy S6 vs HTC One M9LG, How can we forget you? Yes, LG is coming to MWC 2016 like every year and we are expecting a good phone for 2016. Last year, they announced the LG G4, and thus, we will see the LG G5 this year. We have used the LG G4 personally and that smartphone was awesome. The user interface was quite attractive and the leater back panel was quite good too. But, What about the LG G5?

The G5 is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and there will be a 5.3-inch dispay on this smartphone. Yes, it will be a Quad HD display. LG’s official media invite states Play Begins and this has crated a lot of buzz in the tech industry. On the back of this device the users will be find a 16-Megapixel camera sensor and on front, there will be an 8-Megapixel camera sensor. We can expect some audio advancements as well. It should run on Android Marshmallow and the leather back panel will be witnessed again. So, we will just wait for this smartphone too.

4. HTC:

HTC_Desire_326G_Front_SideHTC is not dead yet and it means we are going to see atleast a smartphone at MWC 2016. At MWC 2012, the Taiwanese tech giant announced three smartphones and now, they will be announcing only a single smartphone. Anyway, the HTC One M10 is on the cards and thus, we can see the smartphone at the mega event. The name for HTC M10 is not sure, but it is the upcoming device. Apart from that, the company is also planning a launch event in March too.

The smartphone will equip a MediaTek processor for Asian countries and the European countries will get the smartphone with the Snapdragon 820 processor. It will come with a 5.2-incch 2K diagonal display and teh design of this smartphone will be equal to the design of the HTC One M9. Apart from these things, the consumers can see a lot of things in this smartphone. It will come with an Ultrapixel camera, but we are not too sure about that. Anyway, the smartphone company is not doing that well, but still it is at the borderline. We will see you HTC at MWC 2016.

5. Huawei:

Huawei Honor 6 PlusHuawei intrdocued a lot of smartphones last year and we are currently testing out the Honor Holly 2 Plus and Honor 5X. Anyway, moving towards the topic. Huawei’s present is confirmed for MWC 2016, but they may or may not unveil the P9. Yes, those of you who do not know about the upcoming Huawei phone–it’s Huawei P9. The smartphone manufacturer will launch this smartphone in four different versions and yet, we may not see a single version at Barcelona. Anyway, Huawei will held a press conference in March, where the company will unveil it’s product.

The smartphone is said to be coming with a 5.2-inch display and it will support a Krin 950 processor along with 4GB of RAM. A 12-Megapixel camera will be witnessed on the back and we will see a fingerprint scanner as well, which will be present on front. Huawei Mate 8 is launched a month ago, and now this? The Chinese OEM is doing really great and we can see a lot of smartphones from this company in this year.

Xiaomi Mi4i launched in IndiaXiaomi is coming to MWC 2016 too. This is their first time and yes, they are going to launch the so so and so much rumored and anticipated –Xiaomi Mi 5. Apart from that, the device will pack the Snapdragon 820 processor along with 3GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is going to arrive with a new deisgn. It will support the finger print scannner as well.

The smartphone is expected to run on Android Marshmallow and we hope to see that thing running on it out of the box. The cameras of this smartphone are going to be quite good and the rest of the things will be unveiled in a week. Well, we can see pressure sensitive touchscreens in a lot of 2016 smartphones. The benchmark sccore of Mi 5 are quite good, but we have to test this device out personally.

Microsoft Lumia 550Good Ole Microsoft! We have not forgotten you. Microsoft’s presence is not confirmed yet, but the chances are still alive taht the company will launch a new phone at the MWC 2016. Frankly, Microsoft’s Lumia dvison is not doing that much great. It is just okay, but we can see a lot of loss too. The company may launch a smartphone at MWC 2016, but we are not to sure about it. We may see the Microsoft Lumia 850 at the mega event, anyway, we have to wait for a few more days to witness a lot.
