Microsoft has announced their biggest tablet yet and it is world’s slimmest Intel based device. So, meet the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. It is having a 12-inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display and the device is completely unbreakable. We have just seen the device in the demo and we were shocked to see when the Microsoft’s spokesperson dropped the Surface Pro 3 from a good height on the floor and it was completely intact.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is packing Intel’s i7 processor and also, this device comes with a pen and you can use a pen on it now. Well, the MIcrosoft’s spokesperson says taht three years back when developers started taking tablet market seriously everyone thought that the tables are going to end laptops.
Microsoft said,”Have a look around you. We are in that same room and even after three years about 96% of you are using the Laptops, to be specific–Apple MacBooks. So, did the laptops end?”
The concept was quite clear and the company believes that the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 will give you a feeling of a complete laptop and thus, it is going to do a lot. Also, you can change the hinge angle to 150° and it was amazing. Well, the company also show Photoshop running on this systm as well. Also, the Microsoft Surface Cover has been introduced and the trackpad has been made large. It is now 68% large as compared to the last gen Surface Pro Covers.
This device is just 9.1mm thin and weighs about 800g. The speakers are 40% more powerful than company’s any of the shipped devices and we think that for them it is a great thing. So, will it be able to take on Apple iPad Air? We will find out more when we return back. Stay tuned.
The company says that they are really proud of the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet and it will be available for purchase from tomorrow and it is going to be priced at $799.
NEW YORK — May 20, 2014 — On Tuesday, Microsoft Corp. introduced Surface Pro 3 — the lightweight tablet that packs the power and performance you expect from a laptop.
Surface Pro 3 is a tablet and a laptop: multiple processor, RAM and storage options intersect with a sleek design that, with a simple snap or click, transform the device from a perfectly balanced tablet to a full-functioning laptop and back again — all in a beautiful package that is 30 percent thinner than an 11-inch MacBook Air.
