A few weeks ago, Micromax Informatics held a press conference in New Delhi, where the company announced a lot of smartphones including the Micromax Canvas 6, but they are not stopping there. The Indian tech giant has launched a new smartphone today. Meet the new Micromax Canvas XP 4G. This smartphone is coming with a lot of good features and it is priced below Rs. 8,000. Also, this is one of the few smartphones which are priced low and yet, comes with 3GB of RAM. It is going to be available on Snapdeal from today and it is a Snapdeal exclusive.
The Micromax Canvas XP 4G is coming with a 5-inch IPS HD display, which supports a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The pixel density of this screen is also quite good. On the software front, it is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop and we do not know whether it will receive the future software updates or not.
On the connectivity front, it supports 4G+LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. On the back of this device, there is an 8-Megapixel AF camera which shoots good quality HD videos and takes nice pictures. It comes with a 1GHz Quad-Core processor and as you know it is clubbed with 3GB of RAM, which is quite exciting and we need to check this device out as soon as possible.
The internal storage of this handset is 16GB and the users can also expand the external storage using a microSD card. On the front of this device, the users are going to get a 2-Megapixel Fixed Focus camera, which is going to be an okay camera. A 2,000mAh battery is there too. It is going to give a tough competition to the LeEco Le 1S and the smartphone is going to fight against a lot of other smartphones too.
