ZUK is a new company that entered the mobile market and basically is a Chinese company which is currently supported by Lenovo and is a Chinese based manufacturer. Till this date they have launched their one product which is the ZUK Z1 and is available only in China and runs on stock Android on the latest version.

However, the ZUK guys have decided to expand their business and soon they are going to launch their smartphone internationally. The main thing that will attract international consumers is that the device will run on Cyanogen out of the box, however the consumers in China will stick to the stock Android. ZUK has partnered with Cyanogen and with this the Cyanogen is also becoming important day by day. YU and OnePlus are the two companies which have released their phones with the same OS in the past and were massive hit.

So, for the ZUK Z1 specs it has 5.5-inch display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. And the device is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. Along with that, there is a 13 megapixel camera on the back and on the front there is 8 megapixel camera and it comes with USB Type-C port. ZUK Z1 has 3GB RAM and comes with 64GB Internal Storage and the international version will run on Cyanogen 12,1 out of the box and will be further up-gradable. The device do  supports LTE and finger print scanner too and has 4,100mAh battery.

ZUK hasn’t mentioned the country names to which they will expand and the international prices are not revealed. However, the device costs Rs. 18,500 in the Chinese market and it would be a tough competitor for the OnePlus Two. We will keep you updated once we are sure that the device will be launched in India.
