The Taiwanese tech giant introduced the HTC One M9 earlier this year and they have been working on a new project. Today, HTC held a press event at New Delhi where the company has launched the new HTC One M9+. This device was launched in China last week and now, it is officially revealed for Indian consumers. Well, this was a big surprise as everyone was expecting the launch of M9 and instead of M9 today, we saw the launch of M9+ today. This is just an another variant of the One M9 which comes with some high end features.
The HTC One M9+ is having a 5.2-inch Quad-HD multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display which offers a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The handset is also going to provide a fair amount of pixel density as well. The device is packing a 2.2GHz MediaTek MT6795T octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM.
The HTC One M9+ is pre-loaded with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and the Sense 7 is there to make the device more user friendly. The device is having an internal storage of 32GB and the users can expand the external storage upto 128GB via a microSD card. On the back, there is a dual camera present which was absent in the original HTC One M9. It is a 20-Megapixel camera sensor which comes with the depth sensing sensor. On the front, there is an Ultrapixel camera present for taking high quality selfies.
The One M9+ also comes with the connectivity features like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, microUSB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well. The handset also supports the fingerprint scanner now and it comes with a one year accidental damage warranty. Overall, the handset looks nice and it is surely going to give a tough competition to the high end devices like Samsung Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6. The HTC One M9+ is priced at Rs. 52,500/- and it will be available by May.
