The Consumer Electronics Show, 2015 has just begun and till now, we have seen some big launches and the major one was the announced of the NVIDIA Tegra X1. Then, after that we saw some PC announcements and now, it’s a smartwatch announcement. Well, make that smartwatches as Garmin has got three smartwatches to show us. The company has announced the Garmin Fenix 3, Epix and VivoActive smartwatch. Well, in the image above you can just see the two Vivoactive and the Fenix 3 just looks like the Moto 360. These smartwatches are having good specification and each one is having it’s own specific quality.
The Garmin Fenix 3 is having nice specs and the company is calling this device as smart multisport GPS watch. This smartwatch is having the heart rate sensor present in it. A compass, barometer, and altimeter can be useful when you are doing outing. This smartwatch is is also having the Bluetooth connectivity feature. Well, this is the successor to the Fenix 2 and most of the things are similar in it. The Fenix 3 is going to be available in the first quarter of this year and the prices will start from $499.
This year we are going to see many smartwatches which are going to combine the health features with the basic user feature like calling and others. Till now, we have seen many smartwatches and the smartwatch from Pebble was also a nice one.
The Epix is having a 1.4-inch touchscreen display and on it you can basically check the maps and it will help a lot with your navigation. the internal storage of this device is 8GB/ Apart from that, it is an another smartwatch. The company calls it as the rugged GPS mapping watch for outdoor enthusiasts who are looking for a hands-free navigator. It will be available later this year and it will; come with a price tag of $549.99.
The last but not the least is the Vivoactive and it is the budget friendly smartwatch. You can afford it easily as it is priced at $249.99. It is also running on the Garmin’s Connect IQ app platform, which has been used by these other smartwatches as well. It will also be available later this year.
