Upcoming Android phones in India in 2013
A new year has already kicked off and say Hello to 2013 and also to the upcoming Android phones which are going to be launched in India very soon in the future.The year has kicked off with the grand opening of Consumer Electronics Show(CES), 2013 where many companies have announced their new devices which can possibly show themselves in the country very soon.Here in this post, we are going to take a company and will talk about the Android phones that it will launch in India.We will talk about all the phones, which means both the high end and low end devices will be mentioned here.These a days, most of the companies are using the Android Jelly Bean operating system in their phones and the phones upcoming to India are:
Samsung has announced this device today, which was leaked last year.This device is just an another variant of the original Galaxy S II and possibly the last variant.This device is having the 4.3-inch WVGA display and this device is running on Android Jelly Bean operating system.The screen supports a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.It is a 3G device and has connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well.On the back of this phone there is an 8 Megapixel camera which is capable of shooting 1080p HD videos at 30fps as well.A 2 Megapixel camera is also there on the front of this device for making video calls as well.This device will be launched very soon, possibly in March in India.
2. Samsung Galaxy S IV:
This is going to be one of the most anticipated and high end device for which everyone would be looking.This device is going to have a 5.0-inch 1080p screen and will be running on big G’s latest platform.It will have same connectivity features+NFC as mentioned above, a 13 Megaixel camera will be there on there back.It will pack Samsung’s latest Exynos 5 Octa processor which is having eight-cores.It is said to be launched in May and we can see the launch of this device in the country by July(only if launched around May).Price will be really high.
3. Samsung Galaxy M Pro 2:
Meet the Galaxy M Pro successor shown in the picture above which will have nearly same specs of it’s predecessor but this device will be running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and we can also see a larger display with an upgraded camera.This device will be launched in India in Q1 of this year and it will be priced as a mid-range phones.
- Other rumored phones: Here we are going to talk about the rumored upcoming phones from Samsung, not about their specs. We will tell only their names here:
- Samsung Galaxy Note III
- Samsung Galaxy Y sucessor
- A flexible smartphone is also in the lineup.
That’s all from Samsung for the first quarter of the year, as we move ahead we will get to know more about the upcoming phones from the Korean giant.
This is Sony’s one of the latest announced device which will be heading very soon to India.This is Sony’s first phablet phone which is having a 5.0-inch capacitive touchscreen and it is running on Android Jelly Bean operating system as well.This is a 4G+LTE device and has basic connectivity features as well.The phone is announced at CES and it is also going to be one of the upcoming high-end smartphones.Also, on the back of this device there is a good camera on which you can really bet for shooting good HD videos.It will be available in India in Q1 of this year.
2. Sony Xperia ZL:
This is the exact duplicate of the Xperia Z but it is not a rugged smartphone, while the Xperia Z is and this is jyst the different between these two high end devices.It will also be priced high and will be launched in Q1 of this year.
For now, these are the only two Xperia phones which have been said to be heading to India and as we go on we can possibly see some more devices, but for now that’s all from Sony.
HTC has announced the Droid DNA for Verizon Wireless a few weeks ago in The States and we can possibly see the launch of that phone in India too which is also a phablet having a 5.0-inch large 1080p display with Android 4.1, Beats Audio, Wi-Fi, 4G and much more including the quad-core processor as well.You can see it below.
There is an another phone is stacked in the rumor pipe line for a very long time and we can possibly see the launch of this device at MWC, 2013.Well, this device has also a big screen may be 4.7-inch and will be running on Android Jelly Bean and will have 4G, Wi-Fi, USB port, 12 Megapixel camera and much more.We are not too sure about the exact release date in India, so we are leaving it.That is all that we can expect from HTC in the first quarter of this year.
The device on which every one will be keeping an eye this year from the company is the Lenovo K900 which was launched a day before yesterday at CES and packs Intel’s Clover trail+ processor which can really boost the things up for the company.This device will be running on Android operating system as well.On the back of this device there is a good camera having the single-LED flash as well.It is one of the slimmest Android devices yet.There are five other devices which are launched yesterday and we can see the launch of these devices in India very soon, firstly it will be available in the country’s neighboring country–China.
The other Indian companies like Micromax, Lava and Karbonn will also be launching their Android phones in India and even we acn see some devices this month.So, we will be keep you updated regarding the devices of the companies as well.
