HCL has launched its first 3G enabled tablet named HCL Me Y2.This tablet comes with some goodies like the day you purchased your HCL tablet you will get three months free subscription to download and play unlimited songs,videos and ringtones.This is the 3G tablet which comes with inbuilt sim card slot to use internet(3G,HSDPA).The device has a 7-inch capacitive display of 1024x600p resolution.It can also be use as a phone(but i think no one wants a 7-inch tablet to be fitted in a ear).It runs on 1Ghz Cortex A9 single core processor with 1 GB of Ram.It has Mali 400GPU to run HD games.

It is packed with Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich).It comes with 8GB internal storage and memory can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card.It comes with Dual cameras 2MP Rear camera and 0.3 MP Front-facing camera.It does not support Google Play.Althought it has a seperate apps store.It also comes with Wi-Fi,bluetooth,HDMI port,mini USB and normal USB with 4000 mAh battery.HCL Me Y2 is available at a price of Rs 14,999.
