Microsoft has recently launched it’s own Surface Tablet and is soon going to release it’s running operating system which is Windows 8, but today, we have got an interesting report from the folks over at ZDNet which claims that Microsoft is planning to release an update to Windows XP users who will get Windows 8, but for that you will surely have to pay money as according to Microsoft’s recent scheme the company is going to give Windows 8 update for $14.99 to a new Windows 7 PC buyer, so, it’s sure that the company will not release the actual thing as an update for the XP users for free.
According to this report, Microsoft will release the update for XP SP3 users only and the users of XP SP2 and SP1 are not going to get the update at any cost as insiders believe that it was too old to be upgraded.Anyway, the case goes similar to Windows Vista as when Microsoft can release an update for Windows XP SP3 then why it ca’t release an update to Windows Vista users, so, the report says that the company will also release the update for Vista users and even Vista SP1 users will get the update.Well, users are actually going to face a lot of trouble as 32-bit and 64-bit codes are going to create nuisance, so, before updating do check your computer specs and capabilities which must meet Windows 8′s other wise your money will be go in vein.Anyway, if this reports stands true, then Microsoft will do some revolutionary things and hope that people will like these stuffs too.Windows 8′s launch is not very far, so, stay tuned.
