A few days back Microsoft has announced the Windows Phone 8 operating system, but with in a few hours HTC’s Windows Phone 8 roadmap was leaked which included the names of the upcoming phones which were–HTC Zenith, HTC Accord and HTC Rio.The folks over at The Verge have reported that the HTC Zenith is going to have a 4.7-inch 720p Super LCD 2 display and on the back of this device there will be an 8 Megapixel camera.It will pack a quad-core processor, and it will be a Qualcomm chipset, but still it’s not announced yet.It will be a 4G LTE device and will have connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack as well and yeah may be NFC too!Other specs of the Zenith are not revealed yet, but we believe that this phone will be released in the fourth quarter of the year.
HTC Rio is going to be a budget friendly Windows Phone 8 device and will feature a 4-inch WVGA display and it’ll be a 3G only device and will have connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB port and a 3.5mm AV jack.On the back of this device there will be a 5 Megapixel camera and it will be capable of shooting 720p HD videos at 30fps, on the front there will be no camera present for making video calls.This device will feature a dual-core core processor and will have 512MB of RAM, other details about this phone are not revealed yet, but rumors are kicking that it will be launched in October, 2012.
HTC Accord, the last but not the least phone is going to feature a 4.3-inch 720p Super LCD 2 display and it will have regular connectivity features.It will also pack a dual-core processor, but the processor will be better than that of the HTC Rio’s processor, also it will have 1GB of RAM.On the back of this device there will be an 8 Megapixel camera and it will be capable of shooting 1080p HD videos at 30fps.Other specs of this device are not available yet, but sources claim that it will be released in October too, so, there you go guys a whole new bunch of Windows Phone 8 devices from HTC are coming soon, hope that we will see some high end integration in these phones also, but till then stay tuned for more tech updates.
