Sony has recently revealed it’s official Android Ice Cream Sandwich release schedule for phones like Xperia arc,Xperia Neo,Xperia Mini, Mini pro, Pro, Active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman phone.Sony has recently released the Android ICS update for the Sony Xperia Neo V and the users are quite happy with it’s release, but there are many disappointed Xperia Play users, who have thought their device will get Android ICS update some day.No, it is not going to happen as Sony has recently confirmed it by saying:

In regards to Xperia PLAY, after extensive in house testing with our developer teams and working with our partners, we have concluded that a consistent and stable experience, particularly with gaming, cannot be guaranteed for this smartphone on Ice Cream Sandwich – therefore, we will not make the Android 4.0 upgrade available for Xperia PLAY.

Sony has also announced that they are going to release the Android 4.0 update for the Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U in June, second quarter and latter part of Q3 2012 respectively.The company is also happy to announce that they will release the Android ICS update for each and every Android phone launched by them in 2011 except some lower handsets as they do not make it up to the mark.The company has also announced that they are going to release the latest Android version 4.0.4 for the Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V users in the near future, so stay tuned as your good time is going to begin shortly.
