A statement releases by Tata Motors states that all the rumour about de-emphasizing of Tata Indica were only rumours and there is no truth in them.According the statement released,along with second generation Indica Visa many fuel efficient models like Indica eV2 has been introduced and Tata Indica will continue to serve for Tata Motors.The Tata Indica eV2 is most economic car in India as it is the most fuel efficient car of India with an average of 25kmpl.When asked about the cars producing at sanand plant in Gujrat,Tata Motors mentioned that these rumours have no bases as company is not producing any car other then Tata Nano in its Sanand plant in Gujrat.

Other cars will be produced at company’s factory in pimpri,near pune.Sanand plant continue to produce Tata Nano only.After impressive sales figures since 2012 Nano hits the showroom,company is expanding its distribution network.
