Nokia and Microsoft have joined hands last year and at Nokia World 2011, the company has introduced their first Windows Phone handsets and the company has blown every one’s mind.Last year, in April HTC has said that they are the number 1 company when it comes to the talk about selling Windows Phone.
Now, Nokia has completely changed the game and the company is claiming that they are new king of Windows Phone empire.Tom Farrell, VP of Nokia Middle East told Gulf News:
“ Our strategy is working. When we formed an alliance last year with Microsoft our intention was to regain lost share. After one year, it is still working. We are the number one Windows phone in volume in the world. Our momentum is accelerating. We plan to introduce and bring to markets new and more affordable products with more modern user experiences with Windows Phone in 2012. We will launch Lumia series when Arabic support is ready.”
Nokia is already breaking many records and if the company proceeds like this, then there will be no doubt that by the end of this year 80% world’s population who uses and lows Windows Phone operating system will buy a Nokia Windows phone.
