Apple has announced the next gen iPad today and is named as The new iPad only.We have expected that Apple will call it as Apple iPad 3 or Apple iPad HD but that’s actually happened in our dreams,anyway,Apple iPad 2012 is going to hit the stores of US on March 16th but when it’s coming to India and at what rate?

  No, it’s not.It depends,when Airtel launches 4G services in India, if you read the post above you’ll find that the release date lies between May and June.

    Yeah I read them. But as per comments I thought its going to be launching in april. May be like ipad2.
    And the prices u mentioned in the above article is expected for 4G version? coz launching price of ipad 2 was around 28k, so the new ipad should be also around 28-30k(starting) for wifi only ?
    And just now I read that airtel will start 4g service from March 20 in India in Kolkata.

  not sure but it should be released in april only .forget about the airtel 4g ,apple doesn’t care for airtel coz the device can be used in 3g or 2g service also so may be airtel will sell the new ipad but the relase date of apple will not be extendend coz of airtel

Apple will launch its new third-generation iPad in a total of 12 countries this Friday, April 20, while even more countries, including India, will get the new iPad a week later.
The full list of countries where the new iPad will debut this Friday is Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, South Korea, St. Maarten, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
In addition, a week later, on Friday, April 27, the new iPad will also become available in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa, and Thailand.
